Of course, our lab technicians process routine blood work, as well.
Laboratory tests are an important tool to aid physicians in diagnosing and monitoring medical conditions. The FCH Laboratory uses the latest technology designed to minimize patient discomfort while producing accurate and dependable results.
ASK YOUR DOCTOR: Food and beverages can alter some laboratory tests. Many times, the best comparison of certain test results can be made while the patient is fasting. For some tests, the patient is required to fast for eight to 12 hours.
Consult your physician when receiving laboratory orders to verify if you need to be fasting and if any medications will interfere with the test results.
