Cathy Gresham, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Raised in Jack County, I am the youngest of four and the only girl. I have two children; my son Mat and my daughter Mac; two grandchildren, Paisley and Gunnar. I am a member of Oak Street Baptist Church and volunteer with the children’s program. This is my 7th year as a nurse practitioner.
Fun fact: I am scared of needles!
What aspect of your job do you enjoy the most?
CONNECTing with the patients! I enjoy hearing about their families and life experiences. I want them to feel like they are talking to a close friend or family when they are here. Playing with the kids is the best perk! Think about it – I get paid to talk about boogers and poop!
Your role at Faith Community Health System:
I am merely a real person providing care for real people of all ages.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I can usually be found baking, sewing, or crocheting, and occasionally running. Trying new recipes is my favorite because food has a way of bringing friends and family together.
Words to the community:
“A little consideration, a little thought for others, makes all the difference.” – Eeyore
I moved back to the area in hopes of making a difference giving back to this community. It is often said that it takes a village to raise a child. In my case, it took the ENTIRE village! Many were tremendous influencers, encouragers, and safe havens as I grew up. They are the reason I am the person I am today.
Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Colossians 3:12
