Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation

At Faith Community Health System, we care for you with all our heart!

The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department at Faith Community Hospital provides exercise programs and education for patients with heart and breathing disorders.

We offer cardiac-monitored exercise sessions using several pieces of equipment, including: treadmill, arm ergometer and Nustep recumbent stepper. We also perform cardiac stress testing, pulmonary function testing and holter monitoring. All services are provided by trained, certified technicians.

With a physician referral and qualifying diagnosis, patients can join Faith’s Cardiac Rehab program. We offer a wide variety of cardio rehab services for patients with stable angina as well as those who have undergone the following procedures:

  • Myocardial infarction

  • Moronary artery bypass surgery (CABG)

  • Coronary angioplasty/stenting

  • Heart valve repair/replacement

Pulmonary Rehabilitation Services

In Pulmonary Rehab, patients must also have a physician referral and a qualifying diagnosis, such as: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema, chronic bronchitis or asthma.

At FCHS, our ultimate goal is to restore our patients’ health. You can trust your heart in our hands. Put your faith in us.
