Who doesn’t love a road trip? Many choose summer to get out there and explore and, if this is you and your family, have a great time!
Just remember, safety is the most important thing when it comes to traveling – even more important than having fun. If someone gets hurt, the fun times won’t really matter much – right?
When traveling with children in car seats:
- Don’t forget to inspect the car seat for possible problems. Is it properly installed?
- Do the harness and straps fit so your child is being held in a snug position?
- Make sure the straps lie flat and that the chest clip is positioned at the armpit level.
Failure to check the installation and fit can mean the difference between your child being successfully protected in the event of an accident – or not.
