Meet Sharon McLemore, a compassionate and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner who brings nearly 20 years of dedication to patient care. She joined FCHS a little over a year ago and has become a valued member of the team, known for her warm approach and commitment to treating patients of all ages.
One of the most rewarding parts of her work is building relationships with families. “I find it particularly rewarding when one family member refers another and I get to know and treat the entire family,” Sharon stated. Her philosophy centers on trust, connection, and personalized care.
Sharon earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from Midwestern State University and has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner ever since.
Outside the clinic, Sharon lives in the peaceful woods north of Chico, surrounded by her beloved chickens and her talkative African Grey parrot. She’s a proud mother and grandmother, with two grandchildren who keep her smiling with their love of princesses, unicorns, dinosaurs, trucks, and tools.
When she’s not spending time with her family, she’s immersed in creative pursuits: gardening, home remodeling, painting glass, flea marketing, and transforming antique laces and fabrics into beautiful handmade treasures.
