JACKSBORO, Texas (March 30, 2026) On March 30, communities across the country will observe Doctors Day, a time set aside to recognize the dedication and impact of medical professionals in their communities. At Faith Community Health System (FCHS), the day is an opportunity to celebrate a diverse team of medical providers whose work extends far beyond clinical care — reaching into the everyday lives of patients and families across the region.
From primary care visits and preventive screenings to emergency services and specialized treatment, the providers of FCHS play a central role in delivering consistent, high-quality healthcare close to home.
“Doctors Day is about recognizing the people behind the care — the providers who show up each day committed to doing what’s best for their patients,” said Frank L. Beaman, CEO of FCHS. “Medical practitioners, and clinical teams are deeply invested in the health of our communities, and that commitment is something we are proud to celebrate.”
Healthcare in rural communities carries a unique responsibility. Providers often care for multiple generations within the same family, building relationships that span years and, in many cases, decades. These connections create a level of trust that strengthens both patient outcomes and the overall health of the community.
“At FCHS, care is personal,” Beaman said. “Our providers don’t just treat conditions — they get to know their patients, understand their needs, and help guide them through every stage of life. That continuity of care is incredibly valuable.”
The FCHS medical staff includes a wide range of providers serving across hospital and clinic settings in Jacksboro and surrounding communities. Their areas of expertise include family medicine, internal medicine, surgery, podiatry, orthopedics, neck and spine care, and other specialties that ensure patients have access to comprehensive care without leaving the region.

Together, these providers form a coordinated network of care designed to meet the needs of patients at every stage of life.
“Our strength is in the depth and diversity of our medical team,” Beaman said. “By working together across our hospital and clinics, we’re able to provide a level of care that reflects both expertise and accessibility.”
In addition to clinical skill, Beaman emphasized the importance of compassion and communication in healthcare delivery.
“Medicine is always evolving, but one thing remains constant — the importance of listening to patients and treating them with respect,” Beaman said. “Our providers understand that, and it shows in the way they care for people every day.”
Doctors Day also serves as a reminder for patients to take an active role in their own health by staying current on wellness visits, screenings, and recommended care.
“Preventive care is one of the most important steps people can take,” Beaman said. “We encourage everyone to stay connected with their provider and make their health a priority throughout the year.”
As FCHS continues to grow and expand services across the region, its mission remains focused on providing reliable, patient-centered care close to home.
On Doctors Day, Faith Community Health System invites community members to join in recognizing the providers who dedicate their time, knowledge, and compassion to improving lives every day.
