To my Jacksboro Family and Friends,
For once the rumors are true! After 10 years of dedication to the Faith Community Health System, I am moving on. My family and I are making big changes and moving to a small town in northern Colorado where I will continue to practice medicine in a more typical 8-5 fashion. While I have loved delivering babies and taking care of hospital patients, the time has come for me to take my own advice and spend less time at work and more time focusing on my health and my family.
The legacy I leave behind is one that I hope continues to flourish long after I am gone. On the hard days, I hope you hear my voice in your head reminding you, “Hey, you’ve got this,” because you do! I know for sure that I have made mistakes. I know there are days y’all did not get the best version of me as your doctor due to lack of sleep, hunger, burnout, annoyance with insurance companies, etc., but I hope you remember me as kind. There is plenty of hardness in this world. So, I ask that if you want to honor me, when you have the chance, please choose kindness.
Love Always, Dr. Erika Crutcher
