Born and raised in Bowie, Texas, LaShell Hopson has deep roots in the community she proudly serves. Alongside her husband Matt—also a Bowie native—they’re raising three wonderful children: Trevor (21), Jacob (17), and Gracie (6). Family is at the heart of everything LaShell does, both personally and professionally.

Her journey into nursing began at North Central Texas College, where she earned her LVN in 2000 and her Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) in 2003. From early on, she had a clear goal: to become a nurse practitioner. In 2023, after years of hands-on experience and dedication, she proudly achieved that goal, earning her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Chamberlain University.

Over her 20+ year career, LaShell has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including Nocona General Hospital, home health care, and the emergency department at United Regional Health Care System. This broad experience has shaped her into a skilled and compassionate provider, comfortable caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Now practicing in family medicine, LaShell is passionate about building long-term relationships with her patients—often treating multiple generations within the same family.
“I love being able to care for people at every stage of life,” she says. “There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping entire families stay healthy and feel their best.”

Whether it’s managing chronic conditions, providing preventive care, or guiding patients through life’s health challenges, LaShell Hopson is committed to offering personalized, high-quality care to the community she calls home.
